As knights, our faith is our foundation. We promote vocations and provide financial support for Seminarians and Postulates through our Refund Support Vocations Program (RSVP). Our council is committed to supporting our Church and strengthening each member's faith through our faith-based programs.
The fraternity among brother Knights is evident when we come together for activities, including our support of the Gabriel House, fish frys during the Lenten season, and pancake breakfasts year around. We support the St. James Parish picnic as well. Through such initiatives our members emphasize the importance of community & service. We thank our parish and invite everyone to celebrate with us 25 years as a council.
Our Council is committed to improving our local community through a variety of initiatives. Programs such as supporting our Gabriel House, hosting pancake breakfasts year around and our world famous fish frys during lent.
As Catholics, we know that all human life is precious and deserves to be protected, from conception to natural death. Through the Ultra-Sound Initiative , councils have saved countless lives, while taking a public stand against abortion through participation in saying the rosary at Planned Parenthood and similar events.
Through numerous youth activities, our council helps young people to build a strong sense of civic and religious responsibility with programs such as Keep Christ in Christmas poster contests, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Poster contests and more.
Through family-focused programs, members are able to strenghten their family and marital bonds. Most of these activities also provide the opportunity - through initiatives like the St. James Food Bank - to assist other families.
